Low Altitude Manoeuvres (v1.1 update)
What happens when the captain of an electric airship, an ex-priest in a recon plane, a mechanic with X-ray goggles and a biplane, an engineer with a water-powered stealth gyro, and a stunt pilot in a railgun-equipped fighter attempt to steal the last three casks of brandy served to Napoleon before the Battle of Waterloo?
This is the game that Mark Caldwell (@impworks) ran for his motley crew of sky pirates, and it sounds like it was a blast. As far as I’m aware, it’s the first game of SKY PIRATES in the wild!
Mark and his eagle-eyed crew spotted a small issue in the rules, which I’ve corrected in v1.1. Now, when your Altitude hits 1 it’s time to go (check out page 8). A tiny tweak, but a necessary one - the old rules required you to hit Altitude 0, which was literally impossible.
If you’ve launched any daring heists in the skies over the Sunset Archipelago, I’d love to hear about them. Drop me a line on twitter (@ickbat) or in the comments here, and stick it to the Meteoric Empire!
